Lira Ciappesoni, AP, Dipl.OM is a board-certified and licensed acupuncture physician at Five Element Wellness Center in Tamarac and Weston, Florida.

Dr. Ciappesoni received her Bachelor of Health Science as well as her Masters in Oriental Medicine from Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine. She also holds a Diplomate Certification in Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), a Florida state license, and is a Nationally Board Certified Acupuncturist. She also holds a certification in injection therapy.

Dr. Ciappesoni was introduced to acupuncture at a young age and quickly knew she wanted to pursue medicinal studies. Later in life she had a car accident which left her in pain. She was put on medication that left her ill and made it difficult to keep up with her coursework. Acupuncture not only allowed her to stay off the medication but it also continues to leave her pain free. She has a strong desire to help patients feel well and overcome their challenges.
